New office building in Hamburg-Billstedt

HENKE + PARTNER designed a new office building for Otto Wulff GmbH & Co. KG to expand office capacity on their premises. The new building surrounds an existing office building in a ring shape. This allows for continuous internal access, and creates an inner courtyard that serves as a recreational area for employees, enhanced with planting islands and seating areas. The transparent, barrier-free main entrance, which is clearly visible from the driveway, leads into the new foyer, which creates a transition to the existing building by opening up the walls of the old building. Open-plan workspaces, a heat pump for heating and cooling the building, green roofs and good expansion options are an expression of the future-oriented nature of the construction project.
