New building in Hamburg

New construction of residential buildings, a commercial unit and a daycare centre on Harkortstrasse within the ´Neue Mitte Altona´ urban quarter, which is currently under development. The new buildings are part of an overall ensemble consisting of a total of 11 residential buildings, another commercial unit, a shared underground car parking and common outdoor facilities – together with the central courtyard, they form a cohesive urban quarter. The buildings are accessed from the street via stairwells. On the south and west sides of the block, the apartments on the standard floors have balconies, while those on the ground floor have terraces. The buildings are clad with facing brickwork on the street side. The base area facing the inner courtyard is clad with brick slips on the ground floor. The other facade surfaces facing the inner courtyard have a light-coloured plaster facade.
