The construction process in the project new emergency department „Integriertes Notfallzentrum (INZ)“ – St. Adolf-Stift is nearing completion:

The team HENKE + PARTNER has developed an architectural concept for this highly innovative medical concept at the St. Adolf-Stift. The project serves as a initial project for the site’s future development and, through its defining design elements, establishes a new architectural language for healthcare provision in the region Reinbek.

The forms of the architectural elements visible to the public reflect the pioneering medical focus. The canopy over the emergency department welcomes visitors with a sweeping, distinctive gesture, shielding them from prying eyes and the weatger. The shape and materials of the canopy emphasise the visibility of the entrance, whilst the interior design of the emergency reception desk, seating area, etc. conveys a sense of protection and recovery. The modernity of the medical care provided is visually reflected in the architecture.

A special project in Reinbek and for the regional emergency care with a highly innovative INZ-concept.  We are happy to see the project proceed and to see how the vision comes to reality. The completion will be major milestone for the great team of the St. Adolf-Stift!
