excursion TO THE ENT DEPARTMENT OF MARIENKRANKENHAUS
Healthcare Construction Team visits the new ENT Project at MKH
Our new ENT building project at the MKH almost comes to the end. The third and final construction phase is about to be completed, while areas of the completed construction phases are already in use. The project, planned and supervised by HENKE + PARTNER, comprises a new building with operating theatres, holding areas, wards and offices for the ENT department. This will ensure sustainable patient care at MKH and establish well-thought-out processes for ENT.
The Healthcare Construction team saw this for themselves during their tour of the new ENT department. Prof. Adrian Münscher (Chief Physician) and Dr. Christoph Oidtmann (Senior Physician) gave us a tour of the departments that are already in use. Through direct interaction with the users, we were able to gain many exciting insights into everyday life within our architecture. The highlight of the tour was the introduction to the sterile operating area. We are particularly pleased to see that even after two years of use, the five operating theatres still look like new and that the doctors are very satisfied with the rooms and our collaboration. Our team also viewed the premises of the new wards, which are currently still under construction. Sabine Ritter and Maryam Sahabi from HENKE + PARTNER are overseeing the construction and new building as site managers and were able to give our team interesting insights into the construction process on site.
It was an exciting visit for our healthcare construction team. A big thank you to Marienkrankenhaus for the trust they have placed in us and to all our colleagues who have accompanied and supported this project!
