Kath. Marienkrankenhaus Hamburg

Modernization of Emergency Department

The new Interdisciplinary Emergency Room (INZ) at the kath. Marienkrankenhaus in Hamburg was built in three construction phases – within the defined time and budget and maintaining ongoing hospital operations.

The architecture of the building impresses with its balanced interplay of solidity and lightness, which is reflected both in its exterior appearance and in its interior spaces. The renovated interior areas are characterised by modern, innovative architecture and the use of high-quality materials, creating a pleasant, contemporary atmosphere. With this future-oriented architectural concept, the kath. Marienkrankenhaus in the Hamburg-Hohenfelde district offers optimised and patient-friendly facilities in its new emergency department.

The project was funded by public resources.
