st. adolf-stift reinbek
Training centre for healthcare professions
The hospital at St. Adolf Stift in Reinbek near Hamburg is a standard and specialist care provider for the Hamburg-Reinbek metropolitan region and an academic teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Hamburg. The planned campus for healthcare professions is an integral part of the ‘St. Adolf-Stift 2040’ Master plan and will offer space for 150 training places in the future. The new building, located in the immediate vicinity of the St. Adolf-Stift hospital, will be constructed as an extension on the roof of the existing rescue station.
Particularly noteworthy are the so-called skills labs, which provide new learning and training opportunities as part of the concept, allowing students to apply the knowledge they have learned in theory to practical situations in a simulated environment. The resulting theory-to-practice transfer and the direct connection to the hospital enhance professional competence.
