Helios Mariahilf clinic Hamburg

replacement building

The HELIOS Mariahilf Clinic Hamburg is located in the Hamburg-Heimfeld district. The main site of the clinic is set slightly back on Stader Street, nestled into the topography of the northern foothills of the Harburg Hills. The hospital provides basic and standard care with an unrestricted emergency department. It specialises in gynaecology, obstetrics, paediatrics and neonatology, as well as internal medicine, surgery, paediatrics and adolescent medicine, and anaesthesia. With over 1,500 births per year, the clinic ranks among the top in terms of birth rates in the Süderelbe area. In addition, the clinic is an academic teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Hamburg. Thanks to anticipatory construction scheduling and master planning, existing operations were able to continue until final completion.

The project was funded with public resources.
