St. Adolf Stift Reinbek

new EMERGENCY Department

At the beginning of 2017, St. Adolf Stift in Reinbek set itself the goal of reorganising emergency care and subsequently initiated various planning adjustments for the new construction of the INZ, which is now in the planning stage. During this period, the GBA's guidelines for emergency care have changed significantly and are still the focus of public debate today. The department plays a key role in emergency care in the region. The planned new building will enable reliable patient care for the projected patient volume of over 40,000 patients per year. By the end of 2024, the requirements for an interdisciplinary emergency centre (INZ) will be met. This will ensure that emergency care in the Stormarn district is fit for the future. The planning is based on the latest findings in emergency care according to GBA with low-care, medi-care and high-care zoning. The new building will be exemplary for regional emergency care and will have a far-reaching impact. The new emergency room at St. Adolf Stift in Reinbek: close to patients and the region!

The project is being funded by public funds from the state of Schleswig-Holstein.
